Activating Multi-Device Digipass Authenticators Offline

Before you can log in to your company's system using your Mobile Authenticator, you need to activate the authenticator. You can do this offline in Multi-Device activation mode, using color QR codes. To do so, you must request the activation messages from OneSpan Authentication Server - these messages will be provided as color QR codes. You must scan these images, and enter the device code and the activation signature, respectively, in the corresponding website fields.

To activate your authenticator offline:

1. From the User Self-Management Website menu, select Activate > 2-Step Offline Activation using a Color QR Code.
2. Enter your user name.
3. Enter your password.
4. Click Register.
   If this log-in is successful, the Activation page with Activation Message 1 as a color QR code is displayed.
5. Scan the image and enter the device code.
6. The Activation page is displayed again, where Activation Message 2 is provided as a color QR code.
   Scan this second image, activate your device, and enter the generated activation signature in the corresponding field.
   If this action was successful, the Activation page is displayed, showing a message to indicate that the authentication has been successful.
